A long finger of sand on the Northeast corner of Haida Gwaii. It is a sacred place to the Haida people who inhabit the area. It is believed that Raven first found and freed man from a clam shell on this stretch of beach. As depicted in Bill Reid's Raven and the First Men.

The perspective is looking Southwest, from in the water back to land as the tide comes in from both the East and the West to cover the spit. A small glimpse of land can be seen in the lower center which is Naikoon Provincial Park.
